Aurora, Illinois - Aurora Watch Co. marked "15 Jewels- Adjusted", model 2, believed to be grade No. 8, circa 1886. 18-size full plate movement, stem-wind, lever-set with Hurd's patent regulator. Aurora watches were reported to have had a good reputation, these higher grade Aurora 18-size watches were used in railroad service.
