Hamilton Watch Co. 18-size, Model 1, Grade No. 936, 17-jewels, adjusted to isochronism, temperature and 5 positions, lever-set - mfg. 1898. Designed by Henry J. Cain, grade No. 936 was the first grade introduced by Hamilton in 1893, it was specifically manufactured to meet the requirements of the growing railroad industry.
