Santa Fe Special - Model 9, Grade No. 806 - 16 size, 21 Jewel, lever set, adjusted to temperature, isochronism and positions, double roller, patent regulator. Mfg. circa 1923 for the Santa Fe Watch Company, Topeka, Kansas, by the Illinois Watch Co. The Santa Fe Watch Company sold watches complete in cases via mail order. While the ATSF accepted the Santa Fe Special grade No. 806 for railroad service during the early 1920's, other railroads didn't as the number of positions adjusted to wasn't specified.
