Seth Thomas Model 5, grade No. 248, manufactured circa 1896, 21-jewels and adjusted to 3 positions, patent regulator and is lever set. Watches adjusted to 3 positions were generally accepted in railroad service until around 1907, with some railroads such as the ATSF continuing to accept them into the 1920's.
